Game Overview

PLATFORM – PC

ENGINE – Unity

TIME – 3 Months

DEVELOPERS – 6

We developed Rescue of Minds during our work experience. It was a game for the "Salón del Manga" of Murcia (Murcia Se Remanga).

The game was about exploring the convention, while evading the aliens that had invaded. You would collect pages which would trigger cinematics explaining the backstory of the game, and these pages would each be a part of a code which would unlock the end level door.

My Role

I was one of the 3D modellers and level designers of the game, creating most of the environmental props and building certain areas of the level. I also did most of the visual effects, creating many shaders and particle systems, as well as setting up post processing using Unity's Universal Render Pipeline. I also led the less experienced 3D artists and aided them in achieving the best results.

Result

We worked on a strict schedule every day to reach the required results, having weekly meetings with the "Salón del Manga" organizer to keep him up to date and ensure the direction of the game was correct. The game was shown at the convention, and a lot of people played it.
